Review: Scenario 1: If you go to see a movie because you really enjoy the classic Godzilla movies, and you rely on music and film comedy theme is represented on this one, if you really must see it. Godzilla looks like a giant pet from the 98 movies, music hearkens to classic Japanese film Gojira talks old age, and the camera work is comically stupid character Sam Ramis series.Scenario Spiderman 2: If you're really excited to see the film people in with camera angles and writing really tell the story as transcendent themes such as District 9 and the Korean film The Host, this is your movie. The script is full of rhetoric blatantly simple and one-dimensional characters (meaning,) scenes somehow manage to have a minimum tension (at least for me, the pilot episode for most sitcoms seem much more tense than Gozilla), and as stated in above, the camera work is meant Hammy. It should be noted also that adding the human element, the director overuses the child to the point that it ends up feeling very clear, as he manages to consciously campy.Scenario 3: If you are one of those really just want a fun popcorn movie like Pacific Rim, with some robust action dance like over-the-top bulletfest Battle: LA, I would say proceed with caution. The fight scenes more intense and more majestic, like any classic monster movie, and by the human aspect of war is relatively unimportant, even more so than any other monster movie I've ever seen. There are little monsters for anyone to shoot, if that's your thing.Scenario 4: If you are interested in this film because you love the work of talented Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, and / or Aaron Taylor Johnson (three of my favorite actors) and was excited to see what they bring to the table, you might have to sit this one out. Bryan Cranstons role in this film garners much screen time is lower than advertised, Ken Watanabe literally spend every moment to run through scenes with a pained expression of a man who just walked in on their parents, and all three actors out vibe that they very aware of how cheesy their line. Performance of others is the same forgettable.Honestly, I'm a stickler for the, tell people, but I also had to softspot classic, fun, silly Godzilla movies a lot, including my favorite, Godzilla Vs Destroyah. All told, depending on the camp you fall down, it will be a different film for you. Like Godzilla movies go, I gave B. As more light, more serious monster movies go, I give D +.
