Review: Before I continue with this review, keep in mind that I have not read the book, but I will in the very near future :) Note that I also (Straight) guy ... not that it matters: What can PWow say about this movie. From the moment the title sequence begins, I was hooked immediately. Scenes on scene this film only manages to suck me in this wonderful world of Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus waters. The chemistry between Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elsort is great, and the performances were fantastic. Frankly, it's the best movie I've seen all year, even better than Captain America: Winter Soldier and Godzilla, which is a massive surprise. I just thought it would be more of a teenie love story, and boy was I wrong. I loved the movie and I recommend it to everyone of all ages. I'm rambling on and praising the movie now, so I'll get the direction and cinematography review.The was fantastic. None of the shots felt weird or out of place. Each ball matched the scene and felt really. Editing is also great as killed after being shot matched with the faces of the characters and where they are (typically a good movie editing stuff). Acting was perhaps one of the best aspects of this film. Seriously it makes two characters feel real and alive, and sometimes I forget it's fiction and not based on a true story. Their appearance was so honest and absolutely Oscar worthy in my opinion. But to know that the Academy is just another one teenie love story that will not be recognized all. I hope I'm wrong, but this time it's normal. This is the first film in years that I gave on 10 I do not give out 10 is easy, but there was nothing seriously bad this movie. The pace was perfect, the acting is phenomenal, direction, editing and cinematography was excellent and overall, this movie is one of the best romantic comedies that have ever touched the ground. I encourage everyone to go watch this movie, no matter what age you are, and bring a pack of tissues as well. You will have to it.10/10
